Some of you would have taken New Year promise to reduce weight and bought suitable fitness equipment at your home for reducing weight. But all promises will go in air and you start putting on weight again to take oath for the next year to come. Unless you have serious intention of reducing weight and accustom accompanied with regular diet habits, it will be difficult to bring down your weight.

Any form of exercise is meant to bring down your body weight in a steady manner. Repeated practice of these exercises for a long time will provide better results. Again you should remember one thing. After doing all these exercises and pull ups you cannot eat and drink as you like. You need to follow a healthy diet to bring down your weight and also for maintaining the correct weight for your age and height.

You exercise daily to burn your fat and calories. Any activity which reduces your fat can be considered as exercise. Sitting and reading or watching television also uses some portion of bodily energy and burns little fat from your body. However, it is not enough to burn the stored up fat or unused calories. You have to sweat when you do some aerobics like walking or jogging. This indicates that your body is using the existing calories or energy at a faster rate.

Walking and jogging are the best exercise to burn your fat. Studies indicate that if you walk for 30 minutes, you burn 55% of your calories. Likewise, if you jog or run, you burn 20 to 30% calories per minute. Make it a practice to follow strict plan for doing exercises. Also ensure you are on diet following healthy lifestyle in the course of day. It is not going to help you if you walk or run or do any type of aerobics if you wish to eat anything. Following diet plan which is suitable for your daily routine is vital for losing weight. You cannot reduce weight without exercising or following a good diet plan.

Any exercise, for that matter, should begin at early ages. It is necessary that you should educate your children to do some type of exercise at their tender age itself. Also, you should tell them the benefits of having a regular diet pattern for healthy and long life. Suddenly they cannot change their lifestyle. Slowly and steadily you can continue adding some aerobic exercise in their daily routine. You have to plan exercises for them in a funny way so that your children will not feel the pressure of doing exercises. Initially it may be difficult for them to do even small exercise. After some time, you can see huge difference in their body condition and you will find gradually their body becomes more flexible gradually and respond to exercise plan. Along with exercise, you should educate them about the value of nutritious diet and how it changes your life pattern giving you healthy life free from diseases.

How to diet for easy weight loss

Nowadays everyone is aware of excess weight and obesity and the side effect it produces on your body. Obesity or excess weight may cause heart attack and people who are over weight are more prone to diabetics than normal persons. In other words by adding more calories you are inviting trouble to your health. However if you are ready to shed few pounds by following some changes in your eating habits and life style, you are reducing the risk of getting heart attack and other problems associated with obesity.

Many of you are not aware of the fact that by eating whatever is available on hand you are damaging the metabolism of the body function and inducing the body to gain more weight. Maintaining a good diet does not mean you should avoid all those favorite foods and eat only porridge and bread. By telling the word diet many of you are imagining the same situation. In reality a balanced diet includes each and every food items which contains vitamins, proteins and minerals that are required to maintain your health.

Eat less and eat 5 or 6 times a day. If somebody asks you to eat less quantity of food then surely you will not follow it without explaining the reason for it. How to stay healthy if you eat less? Also, you may feel very hungry if not eating full. Eating lot of fiber rich foods comes as rescue. If you take more fiber you will not feel hungry at all for long time. Fiber is the key factor which helps in digestion and control bowel movements. The foods rich in fiber should be taken frequently so that you don’t feel like eating at all at your next meal. There is no restriction of choosing the fiber food. You can make any choice of your food which contains more fiber content. Include lot of fresh vegetables and fruits in your diet.

For breakfast you can choose a cup of grain or sprouted pulses with fat free milk. You will feel filled enough for longer period. Before lunch, if you feel like eating something, then keep carry an apple or banana with you to crunch. For lunch include your favorite turkey but have only a small slice added with sandwich made of whole wheat and salads containing tomatoes, lettuce and sprouts.

Do not skip lunch or breakfast under any circumstances. That will not reduce your weight. Instead you may feel very hungry and eat lot which will contribute to extra calories and excess weight. By skipping one meal your body becomes tired and demands more calories of food the next time you eat. So you are doing more harm than good by skipping one meal. You should have something to eat for breakfast. If nothing is available, just drink a cup of milk and one fruit which contains fiber. It is enough to give energy for your body.

Following these healthy tips you will reduce the weight gradually and reach the target of desired weight.
